This journey of life…I think we sometimes feel as though what we are going through is only happening to us, but as in doing an online bible study of the book of Job, I realize once again, that people have been going through life’s hard stuff for a very long time. They’ve vascilated from moments of praising God, to times of great anguish. This is nothing new.
One thing that is constant is that God is there through it all…even when we feel so alone in our current situation. He is our rock.
As I sit here on the shores of Lake Huron and take in the magesty of it all, I remind myself that even in the midst of all the hard stuff, there is joy and peace and hope:
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
